F1 Racing Team Makes Its Way to Fishers
Motorsports fans, Indy is about to get even more exciting! Fishers is set to become a hub for motorsports with the Cadillac Formula One racing team establishing its U.S. headquarters in the city. The state-of-the-art 575,000-square-foot facility will sit on 90 acres near East 96th St. and Hague Rd, alongside the Indianapolis Metropolitan Airport and Nickel Plate Trail. Slated to open in 2026, the headquarters will serve as the base for the newest U.S. F1 team, bringing high-tech jobs and global attention to Fishers.
2nd Target Coming to Fishers
Exciting news for eastside shoppers: a second Target is coming to Fishers near 136th St and Southeastern Pkwy. While the mayor confirmed the store is expected to open in 2027, providing even more shopping options for local residents.
Meijer Grocery and Gas Station Planned in Fishers
A new Meijer with an attached gas station is planned on Southeastern Parkway and Cyntheanne Road. The gas station is scheduled to open in summer of 2026. This development will bring convenient shopping and fueling options to the east side of Fishers.

Fishers is getting a major hospitality upgrade. Earlier this week, Mayor Scott Fadness announced plans for a new luxury hotel coming to Hamilton County, located steps from the Fishers Event Center.
Developed by BW Development alongside BW Construction and Ratio Design, the hotel will feature elevated dining concepts centered around steaks, bourbon, and speakeasy-style experiences. Guests can also expect a rooftop pool with an infinity-edge design, a fifth-floor sky bar with sweeping views, and thoughtfully designed spaces for weddings, corporate events, and celebrations.
