$750 million Development in Fishers, IN
The Union at Fishers District will feature around 60,000 square feet of space dedicated to retail, dining, and entertainment, alongside 251 luxury apartments, 135 AC Hotel rooms, and 70,000 square feet of Class A office space.
Located just south of the existing Fishers District and next to IKEA, The Union expands the area with new shopping, restaurants, entertainment, hospitality, and residential options in a walkable, energetic community. Its design complements the current Fishers District, creating a seamless and lively environment that ties together the entire master-planned development.
Niku Sushi
Niku Sushi bringing an elevated Japanese dining experience to The Union at Fishers District. The upscale restaurant will feature sushi alongside other Japanese-inspired dishes, paired with a full bar offering sake, wine, and craft cocktails. Planned for a 6,000-square-foot space with an outdoor patio, Niku is expected to open in the second half of 2026.
The concept is inspired by Hush Sushi.Kitchen.Bar, a sister restaurant in the Dallas–Fort Worth area that has gained strong local recognition since opening in 2022. With its refined atmosphere and focus on quality, Niku is set to become a standout dining destination within the new development.
Piedra
Piedra, a Mexican restaurant from Fishers-based Arechiga Restaurant Group, is also slated to join The Union lineup. Opening in 2026, Piedra will occupy a 5,000-square-foot space and include an outdoor patio for guests to enjoy.
This will be the second location to carry the Piedra name. The first is at Bottleworks District in downtown Indianapolis. Arechiga Restaurant Group, owned by Paul Arechiga, operates multiple dining concepts across Indiana and the Chicago area. Piedra continues their focus on bold flavors and thoughtfully designed dining spaces.
Kitchen Social
Kitchen Social, a well-known restaurant concept from Ohio, is planning to open a 4,500-square-foot location at The Union in the second half of 2026. The restaurant is known for its wide-ranging menu, offering dishes inspired by Asian, Indian, Italian, and Southern cuisines, along with steaks, seafood, salads, and sandwiches. In addition to lunch and dinner, Kitchen Social also serves brunch, desserts, and a curated selection of cocktails and wines. The concept has received multiple accolades in Ohio, including recognition as both a top new restaurant and a best overall restaurant in Columbus. Founded by industry veterans, Kitchen Social brings a polished yet approachable dining experience to Fishers.

The AC Hotel by Marriott is coming to the Union at Fishers District as the brand’s first location in Indiana. This stylish, European‑inspired hotel will offer 135 guest rooms, modern fitness facilities, meeting spaces, and food and drink options in the AC Lounge and AC Kitchen, all designed for both leisure and business travelers. Scheduled to open in early 2027, the hotel will sit above retail space, adding a sophisticated hospitality experience to the growing destination and giving visitors another great reason to stay, explore, and enjoy everything the district has to offer.
