They recently joined the DORA district, making it the perfect place to grab a meal, enjoy a drink, and explore everything downtown Fortville has to offer.
Fox Garden Kitchen & Ale

Fox Garden Kitchen & Ale is located in downtown Fortville and is part of the DORA district. This is one of my go-to spots for a girls’ night, but it’s also an excellent option for date night.
They’re known for their phenomenal drinks and appetizers, although their entire menu is impressive. My favorite app is the whipped goat cheese, its a must-try. There’s just something about this place that gives off a small-town hidden gem feel while still delivering a top-tier experience. This is a 21+ establishment but they do have a family friendly location located at 10410 Olio Rd. Fortville, IN.
Wolfie’s on Geist

Wolfie’s on Geist is always a solid choice. Their menu offers a huge variety, so there’s truly something for everyone.
During the summer months, the patio is packed, and the 21-and-over beer garden features live music making it a fun, laid-back spot whether you’re meeting friends or planning a casual date night.
They also have an upstairs “speakeasy” style lounge called the Broken Barrel. It’s the perfect spot for elevated cocktails and late-night hangs.

Derailed at the Nickel Plate Hotel is a must-visit in downtown Fishers. When the weather is nice, they open up the garage doors, creating the perfect indoor-outdoor hangout vibe. The food never disappoints — their burgers and buffalo chicken dip are always a go-to for me.
This is a great spot to grab drinks, meet friends, and enjoy the energy of downtown Fishers. If you’re looking for a fun, social atmosphere, this is the place to go.
