  • Storytime: 10:30am-11:15am. Read stories, sing songs, and enjoy a craft. Babies and toddlers.

Hancock County Public Library Events

900 West McKenzie Rd. Greenfield, IN

  • Bargain FDay - Friends of the Library Book Sale: 9am-6pm. This is the final day of the Friends of the Library book sale, which is clearance day. A standard paper grocery bag full of books sells for $3; a plastic grocery bag for $2. Or take home a whole box for $5! Bags and boxes are provided. The Friends of the Library is a nonprofit, charitable group of volunteers that raises money through the sale of donated items. Proceeds help fund concerts, children's performers, and special projects at the library.

  • Chess Club: 3pm-5pm. Youth of all ages are welcome.

Sugar Creek Branch Library

Ladies' Night Out 5pm-8pm

Main St. Fortville, IN: Grab your friends for an unforgettable evening of fun, laughter, and exploration. This monthly Ladies' Night Out event is the perfect opportunity to enjoy a night on the town with your favorite people.   • Fishers Make-Off 2026: 9am-4pm. Selected artists will be given 6 hours to compete to make an original piece of art related to Ignite equipment, kits or other in-house materials. Patrons will be able to watch the process, take part in hands-on activities and participate in a patron art challenge. All ages welcome.

  • Public Maker Challenge- Tissue Paper Prints: 10am-12pm. Make a mixed media print using the Chine-collé printmaking technique during the Fishers Make-Off. Chine-collé is a printmaking technique that makes a print and glues papers together at the same time. Middle school through adults. Registration required.
